Job description

Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract Certified Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Concord, Massachusetts.

Position : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Location : Concord, MA

Shift : 4x10 Hour Day Shifts (6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM)

Duration : 13 weeks, 40 hours / week

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Assist surgeons during operations by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Ensure instruments are properly sterilized and accounted for before, during, and after surgery.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards.

    • Requirements :

  • Active NBSTSA Certification required.
  • Current BLS certification .
  • Prior surgical tech experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    • Schedule & Call :

  • Schedule : Days, 4x10s (6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM, 40 hours / week)
  • Call Required per Rotation : Rotating call based on unit needs.

    • Approximately one weekday call every other week (as backup to night shift).

  • Approximately one weekend call shift per month (24 hours).
  • Additional call may be assigned as needed by the OR.
