Heavy Equipment Operator

The person holding this position operates heavy mobile equipment to perform a variety of tasks to support mining, processing, and ash placement operations at the plant site. Under direct supervision of the Site Supervisor or Facility Manager, the employee will be assigned to operate mobile equipment typically found at a surface mine. Typical equipment includes but is not limited to a bulldozer; off-road haul truck; articulated haul truck; water truck; front end loader; grader; excavator; screenplants; backhoe / IT; and / or skidsteer. Occasionally the employee will assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs to the mobile equipment and or processing plants.
