Vice President Of Operations
Vice President of Operations works with the Regional President to develop and implement the local strategic plan. The Vice President of Operations works with the Regional President to develop and implement the local annual budget. The Vice President of Operations is responsible for the overall profit and loss management of the local operations. The Vice President of Operations is responsible for managing local vendor relations and accounts payable management.
Specific duties include demonstrating complete knowledge, understanding, and compliance of company policies and procedures. The Vice President of Operations works with the Regional President on developing and implementing the local strategic plan. The Vice President of Operations works with the Regional President on developing and implementing the local annual budget. The Vice President of Operations is responsible for the overall profit and loss management of operations. The Vice President of Operations is responsible for managing local vendor relations and accounts payable management. The Vice President of Operations is responsible for monitoring staffing levels in all operations in order to maintain operational efficiency. The Vice President of Operations directs all local sales, marketing, public, and governmental affairs activities. The Vice President of Operations ensures that all field staff maintain a high level of customer service when dealing with patients, patient families, co-responders, other healthcare providers, and the general public. The Vice President of Operations ensures that all field staff in all operations maintain appropriate certification and licensure for their position. The Vice President of Operations ensures that operations are in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the ordering, storage, use, and record keeping of controlled substances. The Vice President of Operations ensures that operations are in full compliance with all company policies regarding clinical protocols and field documentation. The Vice President of Operations ensures that operations are in full compliance with all local, state, and federal contracts, regulations, and ordinances. The Vice President of Operations demonstrates complete knowledge, understanding, and compliance of company policies and procedures. The Vice President of Operations ensures the security of all company computer systems by adhering to security procedures and utilizing appropriate passwords policies. The Vice President of Operations ensures the security of buildings, vehicles, equipment, supplies, systems, and all other company property. The Vice President of Operations acts at all times with his / her personal safety in mind, as well as the safety of others. The Vice President of Operations maintains security and privacy of all company and patient information at all times in accordance with HIPAA and all other local, state, and federal regulations. The Vice President of Operations maintains security and privacy of all confidential and proprietary company information at all times in accordance with company policy. The Vice President of Operations reports to assigned shifts properly groomed and attired and on time unless the proper notification has been made. Remains on duty until properly relieved. The Vice President of Operations at all times sets an example of professionalism and leadership for others to follow. The Vice President of Operations assures all company goals, objectives, and procedures are followed on a daily basis. The Vice President of Operations performs other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include all Operations Managers' requirements. The candidate must have solid business management and administrative skills. The candidate must have solid verbal and written communications skills. The candidate must be proficient with all Microsoft Office software packages. The candidate must have a minimum of four years of ambulance service profit and loss management experience. A bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related area is preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to reach, push, and pull. The candidate must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. The candidate must be able to complete all job duties during any and all hours of the day and night. The candidate must be able to use a mouse or keyboard to input data into a computer over long periods of time. The candidate must be able to view graphic and text data on multiple computer screens for long periods of time.
