Overview
Continental Electronics Corporation is a leading provider of RF technologies and innovative solutions with over 75 years of proven performance. You will be working on a variety of challenging technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining and installing equipment, RF / microwave products and electro-mechanical devices, components, and systems. You will work from sketches, drawings, schematics and verbal instructions, under some supervision with autonomy. This position will be primarily installing and testing equipment at overseas locations. Extensive travel will be required for extended stays.
Responsibilities
- Perform difficult electronic, mechanical and technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing and maintaining electronic and mechanical equipment, microwave products, electro-mechanical components, devices and systems.
- Work from schematics, engineering drawings, wire lists, written or verbal instructions.
- Conduct testing of RF and digital systems.
- Oversee a small team to install and test equipment at remote locations.
- Operate related electronic and mechanical equipment necessary to construct, test, process, troubleshoot, repair and maintain specific products or equipment.
- Recommend changes or modifications to improve the operation or the quality of electronic or mechanical products and equipment.
- Determine methods, operations and sequences in setting procedures for constructing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, processing and modifying electronic and mechanical products and equipment as required.
- Basic computer skills : Microsoft Windows O / S, loading software, network systems, Linux, PLSs.
- AutoCAD proficiency a plus.

Qualifications
Must be a US citizen due to government contracts.Must have an active DoD issued Secret Clearance.Travel up to 75%.Must be proficient in writing and speaking English.Associates degree in related technology or equivalent technical training, plus ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent training and experience.Preferred : Understanding of capacitors, test procedures, lead-free soldering, spectrum analyzers.Benefits
