This Level I Trauma Center and Children's Hospital operates as a teaching facility providing comprehensive acute care services. The facility features 554 staffed beds with a 20-bed PICU unit maintaining a daily census of approximately 15 patients. The hospital offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary services. As a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, the facility maintains high standards for patient care and requires strict compliance protocols for all healthcare professionals.
