Caregivers needed in Wilbraham, MA - day and evening shifts available, senior on-home care, companion care, personal care, transfer assistance, transportation.

Your help is needed in your community! We're currently looking to fill shifts specifically in Wilbraham, MA. Join our award winning team of senior home care professionals in the greater Springfield area. Our elderly clients need help around their homes with personal care, respite care, meal preparation and feeding, mobility assistance and transfers, light housekeeping duties, and companionship. You can make a difference in someones life today!

Responsibilities :

Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, etc.

Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles

Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care

Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor

Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert

Requirements :

1+ years of experience in direct care

Punctuality, reliability, compassion, patience, empathy

Strong ability to read, write, understand, and speak English so as to :

Read ADL's

Communicate verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and administrative staff

Vehicle or transportation

Ability to add Business class 30 to insurance

Valid MA Driver's License

Pass a background check

At least 2 professional references (not friends)

Be willing to accept at least 1 e / o weekend shift

Preferred :

HHA or CNA certification (not required, we work with applicants to get HCA certified)
