Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Transplant ICU position requiring an active Oklahoma or compact RN license and ACLS / BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Neuro Transplant ICU within a hospital setting
  • Patient care includes individuals with neurological conditions and transplant needs
  • Day shifts with 12-hour shifts, three days per week
  • No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
  • Responsible for nursing care of patients with complex neurological and transplant conditions
  • Assists physicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments
  • Provides medication administration, IV infusions, and blood product management
  • Documents patient responses and interactions in coordination with the healthcare team
  • Requires good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to respond effectively to patients' cultural and language needs
  • Delegates tasks appropriately to support staff
  • Must comply with hospital policies for documentation and referral processes
  • Limited extension policy : workers can only extend once for up to 26 weeks, with a 6-month separation required before reapplying

  • Active Oklahoma RN license or valid compact RN license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
