The Trane Technologies Internship Program provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. This internship opportunity will be with our Corporate Citizenship team in Davidson, NC and is offered to candidates pursuing degrees in project management, marketing, communications, public relations, operations, and other related fields.

This position has been designated as a hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

The candidate selected for this role will have the opportunity to :

• Learn how enterprise corporate citizenship works in partnership across the business to execute the company's sustainability mission and commitments, and to drive increased visibility and engagement through its programs to achieve best in class results.
• Learn about corporate communications practices with opportunities to seek and explore new methods.
• Manage a new database of global service projects taking place in Q4 to ensure completes, accuracy and socialization with comms and PR partners.
• Support corporate citizenship team in developing comprehensive agenda for Q3 and Q4 meeting of the Global Corporate Citizenship Council a cross functional team of leaders providing governance for the corporate citizenship strategy.
• Become acclimated with the Benevity platform to serve as point of contact for review and approval of employee requests based on prescribed criteria.
• Serve as editorial assistant, managing content reviews and updates to intranet content.
• Interface with non-profit partners and prospective partners to ensure compliance with requests for program funding from Trane Technologies Foundation.
• Work with Comms partner(s) and select employees to amplify Trane Technologies Scholarship program through all-employee communication channels.
• Collaborate with the corporate citizenship to learn workflows and make recommendations, where needed for operating enhancements.
• Navigate complex organizational structures, bridge gaps in communication, and learn how an enterprise works across business functions.
• Gain a deeper understanding of behavioral operational excellence ideologies, such as the lean business model.
