Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour shifts : 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

    • \n

  • Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked

    • \n

  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    • \n

  • Float to all inpatient units as needed

    • \n

  • No on-call or callback requirements

    • \n

  • Work in 8-bed observation unit with 1 : 4 patient ratio

    • \n

  • 2 RNs per shift

    • \n

  • Must be outside 50-mile radius from facility

    • \n

  • Required certifications : Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS

    • \n

  • Must pass EKG exam during compliance

    • \n

  • Minimum 3 years experience required

    • \n

  • 1 travel assignment required

    • \n

  • EPIC charting experience required

    • \n

  • Background in observation units or step-down MS / Tele units preferred

    • \n

  • Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips required

    • \n

  • Care for patients with anemia, cellulitis, COPD, CHF, dehydration, pre-op, urology and GI conditions

    • \n

  • Administer cardiac drips including Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, and Heparin

    • \n

  • Average patient stay up to 48 hours with high volume of admissions and discharges

    • \n

  • Any color scrubs acceptable

    • \n

  • Associate Degree or Certificate required
