Responsibilities Work in a hospital Emergency Department with an 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed ED Fast Track, and 7-bed ED Observation Unit Regularly rotate through Main ED, Fast Track, Observation, Triage, Quick Registration, Covid Tent, and Entry Screening 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM) with flexibility to cover other shifts as operational needs change Typical schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, alternating 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next May be assigned to assist with Covid testing and immunization clinics as needed Floating to other qualified departments may be required Emergency nurses may be assigned to different areas daily or rotated during a shift based on patient volume and unit needs Maximum of one week of requested time off (RTO) permitted during contract Travelers may be expected to perform both patient care and task-oriented duties in floating departments Orientation held on Mondays only; missing compliance deadlines will delay orientation to the following Monday No COVID-19 vaccine requirement specified for this position Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department RN experience Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications Current TNCC certification Conscious sedation certification required (may be obtained onsite after confirmation for a $105 fee) Ability to rotate among multiple patient care and triage settings Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618225.
