z / OS Systems Programmer

A company is looking for a Systems Programmer - z / OS.

Key Responsibilities

Upgrade clients' mainframe software and assist in the transition to support teams

Engage in knowledge transfer and documentation creation during client migrations

Support multiple client migrations simultaneously and address issues as they arise

Required Qualifications

12+ years of experience in a z / OS environment

Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z / OS Operating System and Disaster Recovery concepts

Technical implementation skills for z / OS Operating System and related ISV software products

Experience with SMP / E for installation and maintenance of software

Ability to mentor less senior associates and manage multiple projects simultaneously
