Rides To Wellness Mobility Manager
General Summary : Rides to Wellness provides same-day, door-to-door transportation using a personalized approach to provide health and wellness transportation services. The Rides to Wellness Mobility Manager supports the organizations Mission, Vision and Values of the Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services. The RTW Mobility Manager is responsible for transportation coordination between STARS and other transportation service providers and organizations with the intent of expanding the availability of health and wellness-related transportation services. The Mobility Manager will oversee the Mobility Coordinators and Chauffeurs. This position is an in-person position and remote work opportunities would be limited and require advance supervisor approval. Reports to : Executive Director
Essential Job Functions :
- Work to improve transportation mobility by developing and implementing person-centered or client-based approaches to customer service in the effort to research, understand, solve, and respond to the needs of individuals with specialized transportation needs.
- Oversee the Mobility Coordinators and Chauffeurs and helps to develop employees.
- Scheduling rides, scheduling vehicles and operators as needed.
- Perform driving duties as needed.
- Fosters a positive work culture, exemplifies a positive attitude.
- Develops and prepares various work reports, monitors ridership data and reports on trends.
- Establishes operational work schedules and ensures payroll efficiency.
- Ensuring that MDOT Mobility Management goals are met.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications :
A valid Michigan Chauffeur's License and a clean driving record.Familiarity with state and federal funding parameters / requirements.Knowledge of transportation and community resources.Ability to be creative, flexible, self-motivated, organized, and quality and service oriented.Excellent computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Dependability and Punctuality.Exceptional organizational skills; must be detail oriented and able to simultaneously work on multiple tasks.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent customer service / people skills, ability to maintain these skills in a stressful setting.Ability to think independently, make decisions, and act on those decisions.Experience working with older adults and or individuals with disabilities.Closing Date : Open until filled Examination / Screening : Selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a drug screen, physical examination, and background check.
