Join Our Team as a Principal Electrical Engineer - Building Systems

Are you a seasoned electrical engineer with a passion for designing and managing complex building systems? We're looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead high-impact projects across multiple industrial plants. If you bring deep expertise in electrical design, project management, and AutoCAD, this is your opportunity to drive innovation and excellence from concept to completion.

What You'll Do

Project Leadership

Oversee electrical projects from planning through execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
Partner with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
Proactively monitor progress and resolve issues to keep projects on track.

Electrical Systems Design

Design and evaluate electrical systems for industrial facilities, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Perform load calculations, system layouts, and feasibility assessments.

Documentation & Drafting

Develop detailed project documentation including specifications, reports, and as-built drawings.

Revise designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.

What You'll Bring

Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Certification : PE license (or ability to obtain within one year).

Experience : 8-10 years of experience managing electrical projects in the building systems sector.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong grasp of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NFPA).

Soft Skills : Exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Travel : Willingness to travel up to 40%.
