About The Position

Job Title : Telemetry Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in a specialty field, with a preference for 2 years of experience. Acceptable is 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license, including 1 year in the specialty area.

License : Registered Nurse License (State or Compact, no Temp Licenses accepted)

Certifications : AHA BLS, OR Red Cross Certification

Must-Have :

• Associate degree in nursing
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
• Willingness to float to other units and facilities as required
• Ability to work every other weekend and accommodate holiday shifts

Description :

This position involves working on a multi-specialty unit primarily focused on medical and telemetry care.

The unit accommodates up to 36 patients with diverse medical and surgical needs.

Patients may include those requiring telemetry monitoring and managing acute medical conditions.

Surgical patient populations may include orthopedic and general surgery.

The nursing team provides patient-centered care aimed at optimizing recovery and outcomes.

There is a strong focus on pain management, mobility, and complication prevention.

The nurse / patient ratio is 1 : 6.

Team Leaders support nursing staff in patient care.
