JOB SUMMARY
The Nuclear Med. Technician must perform all nuclear procedures adequately and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates the ability to perform all nuclear exams adequately.
- Displays knowledge to operate all nuclear equipment.
- Maintains ability to evaluate films.
- Assumes care for special patient needs and medical conditions.
- Assists the Physician with Imaging procedures as needed.
- Maintains current licensure and keeps current on continuing education as required by position.
- Able to use PACS and other equipment.
- Notifies SV if equipment malfunctions and utilizes safety devices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
