Join to apply for the REGIONAL SALES MANAGER, CENTRAL REGION role at KENT WORLDWIDE . Kent Worldwide is hiring a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for its Nutrition Group, a remote field-based role responsible for leading Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) and managing dealer and producer accounts across Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. The RSM will develop and execute strategic business plans to grow Kent product sales within the independent dealer network, requiring strong leadership, relationship-building, and sales experience in agriculture or animal nutrition.
This is a salaried position with a complete benefits package. The compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000, in addition to Kent standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Providing support and direction to TSMs for :
- Promotion Planning
- New Product Introductions
- Product training and support
- Consumer Seminars to educate end-users and build brand and product awareness
- End–User field calls to grow the business
- Customer Relations Management Reporting
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Leading Western Region sales team to increase sales of all KNG products through dealer channel, direct to farm, and all other appropriate channels.Leading Western Region sales team to increase profitability in the region.Identifying open markets and setting up appropriate new distribution.Accountable for tracking tonnage, division results and promotion sign-ups.Planning and implementing impactful sales blitzes, sales meetings, and performance reviews.Education, Experience and / or Qualifications
BS degree in Agriculture or business-related field5 years of related work and management experienceProven ability to successfully lead a highly motivated sales teamProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesStrong results-oriented and goal-motivated team playerExcellent skills in organizational, detail-oriented, written and verbal communication and direct sales experienceAbility to focus on predetermined directionFlexibility to capture new business opportunitiesProficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPointTravel Expectation
