• Conduct thorough nursing assessments and document patient data accurately, identifying changes in patient status and prioritizing care accordingly.\n
• Collaborate with patients, families, providers, and the healthcare team to develop and continuously update individualized nursing care plans.\n
• Ensure patient safety by maintaining a safe environment and adhering to established protocols and standards.\n
• Provide direct nursing care informed by the patient's needs and the nursing plan, coordinating tasks effectively.\n
• Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient response to interventions.\n
• Educate patients and families on their health needs, ensuring clarity and understanding.\n
• Engage in professional development activities to maintain licensure and enhance nursing practices.\n
• Advocate for patients by coordinating care and communicating their needs to the healthcare team.\n
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n
• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.\n
• Experience - Minimum of one (1) year as a registered nurse.\n\nIn Lieu Of\n
• Successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable program accepted in place of one (1) year of experience.\n
• One (1) year of licensed practical nurse (LPN) experience may be accepted for internal candidates.\n\nRequired Certifications, Registrations, Licenses\n
