About The Position

Job Title : RN Psych

Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Adair, IA (onsite)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Total Weekly Hours : 36

12HR : 7p-7a weekends and holidays as assigned Department Details : Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages. Must be able to do CIWA / COWS, UAs and be able to set / hold firm empathic boundaries Required Certifications : BLS and CPI Required Experience : 12 months of prior experience in an inpatient rehab setting with COWS and CIWAS Preferred experience : Psych exp # Beds : 50 (20 female / 30 male) Nurse / Patient ratio : 1 nurse on night shift; For the 7p-11p of the shift there are 2-3 BHA (techs) on shift. 11p-7 there is 1 tech on shift. EMR : HCS - electronic Dress Code : Scrubs Additional Information : Voluntary patients, no restraints, Admin on call and Doctor on call at all times, no on-site security. Visiting hours are Sundays 1-4p. Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hour shifts training until comfortable.
