Salary : $23.00+ / hour

The Company

Water Resources Group owns and provides services to a family of self-performing general contractors in the civil sector of construction. These companies perform work in the Upper Midwest and Mountain West regions of the United States from offices in Deerwood, MN, Monticello, MN, Golden, CO, Fargo, ND, and Watertown, SD.

Primary Function

The Mechanic will provide a wide range of technical services on company equipment and vehicles to ensure all equipment and vehicles are safely and efficiently operating to the company's needs, maintain service records, maintain parts inventory, and maintain a safe and organized shop area.

Accountabilities

• Service Records
• Preventative Maintenance
• Repair of Equipment and Vehicle Fleet

Educational Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by specialized repair courses in diesel mechanics. Valid Commercial DL.

Practical Knowledge

Knowledge of tools, procedures, technical skills, and safety rules used in the maintenance and repair of gasoline, diesel, and alternative powered equipment, written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of Federal and State regulations.

Travel Needs

Infrequent day trips.

Work Experience

At least three (3) years experience as a mechanic in a trucking or heavy equipment environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

$23.00+ / hour DOQ plus full benefits
