The Lynchburg franchise is excited to invite an experienced Mitigation Manager to join their growing team. Their Mitigation Managers are some of the first on-site, responding when it comes to fire, water, storm, mold, or other disasters providing customers with extraordinary care and serving them in their time of need. The company is growing rapidly and is looking for A-Players to represent the vision, mission, and values of their organization.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergencies which may include fire, flood, mold, vehicle impact, trauma, etc.
- Advance knowledge of the operation of drying and restoration equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filter equipment, and other remediation equipment
- Oversee and perform labor tasks, such as controlled deconstruction and removal of debris
- Run / schedule multiple crews
- Oversee the quality of workmanship on site and ensure compliance with company standards
- Able to determine damage and / or restorability to customers personal property (contents) items and manage the packout, cleaning and inventory of items within a set budget
- Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered
- Able to monitor and provide appropriate documentation for dry-out jobs to all interested parties
- Drive company vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other machinery
- Ensure that safety guidelines are followed on job sites
- Willing to share knowledge, train, and mentor others
Requirements
Active IICRC WRT, ASD certification required (AMR & FSRT certification is preferred but not required)3 or more years as an experience Mitigation Restoration Technician in Water, Fire, and Mold2 Years previous management experienceStrong desire to help others during a difficult timeExcellent interpersonal communication skillsA professional appearance and great attitudeA valid driver's license & pass a motor vehicle reportAbility to pass a criminal background checkA high school diploma or a GED certificateThe ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, to climb ladders and get into confined spacesWillingness to work in fire, smoke, mold, water damage, and other hazardous environments (necessary PPE provided)Ability to pass a DOL PhysicalBenefits
