Ascension St. Agnes is a community teaching hospital. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.\nResponsibilities\n\nManage activities, workflow and nursing resources of assigned nursing unit(s).\n
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.\n
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.\n
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).\n
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.\n
• Monitor and adhere to budget. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.\nRequirements\n\nLicensure / Certification / Registration : \n
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.\n\nEducation : \n
