Florida Workers' Compensation Adjuster

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Legal Claim Adjuster.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate claims based on Florida Statute and case law to determine compensability and total value; set reserves accordingly

Initiate investigations, assign defense counsel when necessary, and ensure timely indemnity payments and state filings

Monitor medical treatment, authorize services, and coordinate vocational rehabilitation as needed

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of Lost Time / Legal claims handling experience; preferred 5+ years

Possess FL-All Lines Adjuster or Workers' Compensation License and maintain CEU credits

Previous experience with settling claims

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Proactive and independent with strong time management and organizational skills
