Job Summary :

The Automotive Mechanic / Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems and components. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential safety concerns or future maintenance needs.
• Perform advanced repairs and component replacements, including engine overhauls, transmission rebuilds, and electrical system repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours, in accordance with company and manufacturer standards.
• Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure issues have been resolved and the vehicle is operating safely.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to provide detailed explanations of repairs needed, estimated costs, and timelines.
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training and certification programs.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
