Facilities Supervisor

Location :

• Colorado Springs, CO Department : Operations / Facilities Compensation :   $25.00 - $30.00 per hour The Facilities Supervisor oversees the daily operation, maintenance, and improvement of Skyline’s manufacturing campus and supporting facilities.
• This position ensures that all buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to support a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment for approximately 250 employees across office, production, and warehouse spaces.
• The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and experienced in managing facility maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Key Responsibilities Facility Operations & Maintenance Oversee preventative maintenance and repair programs for building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and compressed air systems.
• Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance technicians and outside contractors.
• Ensure production areas, offices, and common spaces are kept in safe, orderly condition per OSHA and company standards.
• Manage work orders and respond to urgent maintenance needs with minimal production disruption.
• Maintain all facility-related records, permits, and documentation.
• Safety & Compliance Partner with HR to ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and fire code regulations.
• Support audits and inspections (ISO, OSHA, UL, local fire, etc.).
• Ensure proper signage, lighting, exits, and emergency equipment inspections are completed and documented.
• Lead facility-related corrective actions and abatement processes when needed.
• Vendor & Budget Management Review vendor performance and ensure contract compliance.
• Capital Projects & Improvements Recommend improvements to building systems, energy efficiency, and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Team Leadership Supervise a small team of maintenance technicians, assigning daily priorities, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring adequate training and cross-coverage.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving within the facilities group.
