Responsibilities Work in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital Patient population includes women in labor and newborns Float required to similar units as needed Night shifts offered as either 3x12 or 4x12 hours, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM Will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care of laboring, delivering, and recovering mothers and newborns Must be able to float to comparable maternal-child units as needed Clinicians must complete required lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a completion plan in place Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted for this travel assignment Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required and must be in hand Minimum of 2 years current L&D RN experience required, with 3 years preferred Nursing degree required Current BLS certification required ACLS required within 1 year of hire NRP required within 6 months of hire Fetal Monitoring competency required Breastfeeding Education required within 90 days of hire Travel nurse experience highly preferred Must provide 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-609464.
