Description :

Level 1 trauma experience desired, plus a minimum of three years of recent experience in the Operating Room is required.

Staff will be expected to work in a variety of specialty areas including Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS.

Call policy includes weekday coverage from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM and weekend coverage from 7 : 00 AM Saturday through 7 : 00 AM Monday.

A 40-minute response time is expected for call coverage.

There is a rotating list for selecting call shifts, and the first six-week schedule may include 2-3 calls during the week.

The following six-week period may include weekend call.

Daily census and patient diagnoses will vary, and candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

Compliance requirements include passing BLS, Basic Math exam, OR Competency exam, OR skills, CORE exams, and No-Medication exam or NIHSS.

Travelers must be aware that locals within a specific radius are not accepted.

Rehire eligibility checks must be confirmed, and any prior work history at this facility must be noted.

Call frequency is anticipated to be 2-3 shifts during the scheduling period.

Modules are required for completion annually and may vary by specialty.
