Position Summary

The Junior Petroleum Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections and tests of various petroleum products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining product quality and safety throughout our operations. • Under supervision, responsible for measuring, gauging, and recording temperatures of various materials in shore tanks, as well as collecting samples from barges.
• Conduct field calculations in accordance with company guidelines and American Petroleum Institute (API) standards.
• Collect, label, and deliver samples to the laboratory promptly, in line with job requirements.
• Document inspection findings and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
• Evaluate equipment, processes, and safety measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the inspector trainer to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
• All other job duties as defined.

Shift Schedule : 24-hr on-call, 4 on / 4 off
