Job Title : Software Development Manager (Full-Time, Hybrid Role - Greater Cleveland Area)

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000+ per year (commensurate with experience)

What will the Software Development Manager do?

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers working across .NET, ReactJS, and legacy systems
  • Oversee the design and delivery of internal Windows and web applications
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and development plans
  • Guide architectural decisions and ensure adherence to best practices (SOLID, DI)
  • Act as a business analyst-gathering requirements, identifying blockers, and documenting solutions
  • Interface with cross-functional teams including operations, accounting, and executive leadership
  • Support sprint-style development cycles and high-level troubleshooting
  • Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts, including cloud migration and system integration

    • What the company needs in a Software Development Manager :

  • 7+ years of experience in .NET development (including recent .NET 8.0 and C#)
  • 3+ years in a leadership or management role within a development team
  • Strong full-stack development background (Windows + web)
  • Experience with ReactJS, SQL Server, SSRS, Azure DevOps, Git, CI / CD pipelines
  • Ability to function as a working manager -hands-on, collaborative, and solution-oriented
  • Strong communication skills-able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable in a multi-hat environment with shifting priorities and compressed timelines
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into actionable development tasks
  • Bonus : Familiarity with logistics, manufacturing, or mid-sized business environments

    • Additional Details :

  • Hybrid schedule : 2-3 days / week on-site in the Greater Cleveland area
