Crossbones Dog Academy is a leading dog training & daycare facility, known for our unique Puppy Day School program which combines play and positive training for puppies. We’re a team of dog trainers and support staff committed to using positive reinforcement with dogs and with each other. We value communication, teamwork, and professional growth.

Why we’re hiring :

We’re growing! As a result, we’re looking for a full-time dog daycare attendant (32-40 hours per week) to supervise playgroups, care for dogs, and keep our facility clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise playgroups of 3-15 dogs (indoors and outdoors, in all weather), either solo or with another attendant (1 staff member per 10 dogs in playgroup)
• Use positive reinforcement to reward good behavior , and gently redirect undesirable behavior
• Capture photos and videos of dogs at play for our social channels
• Clean up after dogs, prepare and distribute meals and food-dispensing toys, and provide individual potty breaks
• Update behavior reports and communicate observations to the team
• Help keep our facility clean and organized
• Work closely with the team in person, via walkie talkies, and through Slack for seamless care and support
