Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Position in Raleigh, NC

Overview Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Raleigh, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful. Position Highlights :

• Join an established and successful practice that has served women in the Raleigh metro area for over 30 years.
• Practice team consists of 2 gynecologist physicians and 1 nurse practitioner.
• 4.5 days per week work schedule with no nights, weekends, or hospital shifts.
• Patient Census in Clinic : up to 16?18 per day.
• Duties include seeing patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medication.
• Will also assist with procedures like IUD insertion, endometrial biopsies, and pap smears.
• Call schedule will be phone based and a weekly rotation among all the providers in the practice.

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• One year of full?time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred City / Location Highlights :
