Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver :

  • Conduct pre / post-trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and complete the DOT inspection report.
  • Verify the bill of lading and store keys accurately for off-hour deliveries.
  • Transport tractor-trailer to destinations, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skills in vehicle maneuvering.
  • Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery details, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
  • Unload trailers, delivering products to customer locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • What You Bring as a CDL-A Team Member :

  • Aged at least 21 years.
  • Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
  • A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles in tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently to fulfill job-related tasks effectively and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
