Requirements :
- Valid Drivers License With Clean Driving Record (In The Event Of A Driver Needed) Or Government / State ID
- Must have 2 Years verifiable employment history relating to this position - (Security, Healthcare, Customer Service, Military, Law Enforcement, Corrections)
- Natural Hair Color
- No Face / Neck Tattoos
- Comfortable with Restraining When Needed, Dealing With Combative Patients
- Comfortable Transporting Patients To The Morgue When Needed
- Comfortable with heights (you may need to assist in helicopter transports back down to the E.R)
- Comfortable with needles (you will need a TB test and required vaccinations where applicable)
Job Duties :
Transporting Patients To The Emergency RoomPatrolling : Walking the hospital grounds and looking for anything suspicious or concerningReporting : Notifying leadership or other security officers of anything importantControlling access : Ensuring that only authorized people can enter and exit the hospital, and that no contraband or hospital items are brought in or outPreventing crime : Trying to stop criminal activity, such as theft, vandalism, and disturbancesResponding to emergencies : Helping with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disastersManaging issues : Addressing security issues with patients or visitors, and using verbal de-escalation skills to resolve safety incidentsMaintaining confidentiality : Being discreet when handling private informationResponsibilities :
Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazardsAssist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)Transport patients to the morgue, as neededAssist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency roomAssist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disastersSound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized personsWarn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articlesPermit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits; ensure only authorized individuals enter and exit the hospital, and that no contraband or hospital items are brought in or outObserve departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirementsInvestigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as requiredQualifications (Must Have) :
High school diploma or GED accredited by state - Foreign education MUST be accompanied by no less than 1 year VERIFIABLE security / military / LEO employmentLicensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentMinimum of two (2) years of verifiable employment history relating customer service or the protective service industry (preferably security, healthcare, military, law enforcement, or corrections)Must be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the stateComfortable transporting deceased patientsComfortable performing medical holds / going hands onComfortable receiving required vaccinations per HCA requirements (MMR / TDAP / Varicella)Successful completion of 10 panel drug test in compliance with federal guidelinesFree of facial tattoosNo DUI within last 5 yearsNo FeloniesNo drug, theft, battery, assault charges within last 5 yearsPreferred Qualifications (Nice To Have) :
Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat ZoneGraduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter fieldBachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studiesA minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branchAssociate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military serviceBenefits :
