Director, Design (GSV)

Overview

Director, Design (GSV) at Golden State Valkyries – Design Director to lead the creative process within the Studio team. In this role, you will develop first-class designs for the organization and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. This position reports to the Executive Producer (GSV). This is a full-time position based in Oakland, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce a wide variety of cross-platform creative deliverables for internal and external clients
• Establish and manage all design systems across the GSV brand
• Manage a team of multiple graphic designers
• Collaborate with Marketing on full-scale campaigns and evolve visual brand identity
• Develop multiple design projects concurrently and execute according to established timelines
• Prioritize and track projects across the design team using creative process / project management tools
• Assist with print production (e.g., set up files, file archiving)
• Other duties as assigned
