Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer – Rapidly Growing Commercial Launch-Stage Biotech

A rapidly growing, commercial launch–stage biotech focused on oncology innovation is seeking a Senior Accounting Director to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and audit readiness. This role will be a key leader in scaling accounting infrastructure as the company advances through multiple late‑stage trials and prepares for commercialization.

This is a high‑impact leadership opportunity for a strategic, hands‑on accounting professional ready to help build the finance foundation for a rapidly scaling biotech.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, clinical and manufacturing accruals, and inventory accounting
• Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and compliance with US GAAP and SOX 404
• Manage external audits and ensure strong internal controls
• Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to support accurate financial insights
• Provide technical accounting guidance and oversee accounting policy development
• Drive continuous improvement and ERP optimization
• Mentor and develop accounting team members
