The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, interviewing and placing top talent within Delta Community Credit Union. This position is a key member of the Talent Resources team in a fast-paced team environment. The primary responsibilities are to build relationships with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and specific qualifications. The Talent Acquisition Specialist must understand functional area hiring needs, position specifications and parameters of search requirements. They participate in weekly team updates / strategy meetings. They proactively research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies. The Talent Acquisition Specialist maintains a strong network of contacts and integrates strategic thinking and perspective with immediate recruitment needs. They also collaborate to establish metrics used to measure customer satisfaction. The Talent Acquisition Specialist stays abreast of industry trends, development and changes. They work in cooperation with others to further company goals and build a positive group attitude.
Essential Functions :

Required Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years' experience in recruiting, which includes sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations
Must demonstrate sourcing and negotiation skills, as well as knowledge of employment law
Knowledge and experience in recruitment concepts, practices and procedures
High level of energy, creativity and independent thinking
Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to effectively communicate and influence client groups and outside candidates
Ability to consistently deliver a high level of customer-focused service
Must have strong leadership and organizational skills
Must be flexible / adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Must possess strong team orientation with the ability to build collaborative working relationships
Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
2+ years' experience in agency or corporate recruiting
HRCI Certified Professional Human Resources (PHR, SPHR or GPHR), or SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP)
Experience in sourcing and filling sales and service as well as other technical and management type roles in the financial services industry
Experience with applicant tracking systems, including building requisitions and posting jobs to external job boards
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
