Overview
We are seeking aMedical Biller,sometimes referred to as aHospital BillingSpecialist, Patient Accounts Representative or Insurance Billing Specialist.As our Medical Biller, you will manage patient billing and insurance claims in ourPhysician Group or Hospital. The Medical Biller will ensureaccuratecoding,timelyreimbursements and clear communication between patients, insurers, and ourmedical group or hospitaldepartments.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Reviewpatient charts and codeinsuranceinformation foraccurateinsurancebilling
- Submit insurance claims and ensuretimelyreimbursement
- Follow up oninsurance denialsor unpaidinsuranceclaims and correct errorsor insurance codes
- Prepare and send patient bills for remaining balances
- Communicate with insurance companies and hospital departments to resolve billing issues
Qualifications
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 1. Knowledge of multiple insurance billing requirements and 1-2 years of billing experience 2. Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and Revenue Code structures3. Effective written and verbal communication skills4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines5. Analytical and problem-solving skills6. High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required
