Overview
POSITION SUMMARY : The Onsite Consultant is responsible for providing professional and responsive service to onsite customers in environments including production, mailroom, shipping and / or retail services. The Onsite Consultant interfaces with customers at all levels and works to meet customer requests and contract requirements. The role may involve operating a wide variety of computers and equipment, moving boxes and equipment, stocking supplies, managing complex projects, writing and filling out forms, sorting and collating papers, completing assigned tasks based on priority, following instructions from supervisors, and communicating effectively with team members. The Onsite Consultant delivers a positive customer experience using consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. The position requires minimal supervision and regular interaction with customers, managers, team members and vendors to accomplish established business objectives.

General duties and responsibilities

Coordinate all mail and shipping related services and activitiesPick up and deliver customer packages and mail onsiteHandle packages with appropriate equipment or assistanceAssemble and prepare goods for shipping, including wrapping, boxing, weighing, and labelingOperate and maintain an automatic mail processing machine (mail meter) for outbound mailProvide customer service by determining shipping methods and informing customers of products, routes, and ratesSort and prepare packages and mail for pickup or deliveryUtilize a tracking system to log receipt and release of packagesUtilize pallet jacks and other large package handling equipmentInvestigate packages and mail with unknown recipientsRetail
