Summary The Field Service / Truck Shop Technician level B is a mid-level service / truck shop technician and performs on-site service and repair of customer vehicle, both in the field and at a RTS facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

• Follows all policies and procedures
• Must possess all abilities for Field Service / Truck Shop Technician level C
• Receive schedule of daily assignments from supervisor
• Must meet or exceed RTS / Allison time guidelines for removal and replacement
• Calibrate ECU’s and TCM’s
• Have the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and install Telma’s
• Electronic Troubleshooting
• Diagnose and separate transmission problems from vehicle problems
• Perform Allison warranty when required
• Vehicle system knowledge
• Organized record keeping or some filing may be required
• Other duties may be assigned
