Medical Laboratory Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

• Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the clinical laboratory team. This role involves performing moderate to high complexity testing, analyzing laboratory specimens, and ensuring accurate, timely results to support patient care.

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in areas such as Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, and Blood Bank

• Analyze, interpret, and verify test results

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment

• Perform quality control and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and regulatory standards

• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues

• Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records

• Follow all safety and infection control procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field

• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred (or eligible to obtain one)

• Prior clinical laboratory experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
