PositionSummary

TheRegulatoryResearchAttorneyprovidesgenerallegalsupporttothecompliancedepartmentandisprimarilyresponsiblefortheComplianceEdgeNewsletterandmanagingthedepartmentsregulatorychangemanagementfunction.Thispositionwillpreparelegaldocumentssuchasmortgagesandpromissorynotes,anddisclosuresforconsumerandnon - consumerlending,includingnon - residentiallending.Thepositionservesasasubjectmatterexpertfortheorganizationforhowloansshouldbemadeinconsiderationofapplicablefederal,stateandlocallaws.Inaddition,thepositionmayalsoincludeworkoutsideoftheUnitedStatesandcompliancewithforeignlaws(whichmaybelearnedonthejob).

EssentialFunctions

• ResponsibleforadvisingtheChiefComplianceofficeroflegaland / orregulatorychangesapplicabletooperationsandcoordinatingthemanagementofchangesthroughouttheorganizationanddepartment.
• Monitoringlegislatureandregulatoryagencyactivityforlegaland / orregulatorychangesrelatedtothemortgagelendingindustry.
• Ticketingrequeststotheappropriatedepartmentpersonnelforlegalandregulatorychanges.
• ProvidingguidanceandwrittensolutionsforusebytheCustomerServicedepartmentinrespondingtocustomerinquiriesrelatedtocompliancematters.
• ProvidingguidanceandtrainingtotheComplianceandCustomerServicedepartmentsinrelationtocompliancematters.
• DraftingdocumentstobeusedbyDocMagicclientsformortgagelending.
• ProvidingwrittenarticlesforpublicationinDocMagic ' sComplianceEdgeNewsletterreflectinglegalandregulatoryrequirementsfordisclosures.
• Testingcomplianceproductspublishedforcustomeruseforaccuracy,e.g.,compliancematricesanddisclosure matrices.
• Completingreviewofvariouslawsand / orregulationstosupportlaunchesofnewforms,products,or areas of business.
• Providingoversightandguidancetointernaldepartmentmembersforexecutionoflegal
