A Brief Overview
Collaborates closely with the multidisciplinary staff to provide a coordinated experience to patients and families. Receives a high volume of consults from a variety of sources and gathers pertinent medical and psychosocial information to help determine level of acuity and appropriate resources. Plans and implements social work referrals and coordinates patient disposition. Provides service coordination and may be responsible for utilization management and pre-authorization.
This role supports an Outpatient Speech and Audiology Clinic within the Center for Childhood Communication which averages around 50 appointments per day. The role is consultation based but this coordinator plays a key role in the multidisciplinary team including a neuropsychologist and family therapists. The ideal candidate for this role has strong organizational skills and familiarity with resources available to patients and families diagnosed with hearing loss or difficulties with speech development. Additionally, they should have experience with accessing IBHS / ABA services, FMLA application assistance, Auditory Device Applications, Medical Assistance Transportation Programs and Early Intervention Services. Candidates that have experience within a speech and audiology setting are highly preferred.

SALARY RANGE :
$61,360.00 - $78,230.00 Annually
Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
