About the Role (W2 Contract - No C2C)
We’re seeking a reliable and self-motivated Field Service Technician to perform offsite retail field work — traveling between store locations throughout Maine and New Hampshire. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing computer and printer hardware in retail environments. You’ll work independently, using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed weekly), while receiving daily support and direction from an on-site lead technician.
Requirements
Previous field service or offsite work experience (e.g., traveling between sites, managing tickets, independent work)
Hardware repair experience required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
Willingness to travel throughout ME & NH (some drives may be up to 2 hours each way)
Ability to lift 75 lbs and work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays
Strong organizational and customer service skills
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time : approximately 40 hours per week
Mileage reimbursement at standard rate for all work-related travel
Flexible scheduling – may include some weekends or holidays
Field-based role (not remote; requires daily travel between store sites)
