Wieland is hiring Machine Operators. The Machine Operator plays a vital role in supporting production operations including operating machinery, performing preparation tasks, handling materials, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Employees will be assigned to one of the current open production positions upon hire depending on business needs. Wieland is a fast-paced production setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection are required and provided. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay : $19.06 to $20.21 / hr for the 60-90 day training period, then $23.80 to $25.28 / hr depending on the department / position.

Schedule : 3 : 00pm to 11 : 00pm on 2nd shift or 11 : 00pm to 7 : 00am on 3rd shift. Training on 1st shift from 7 : 00am to 3 : 00pm for estimated 2 to 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

Machine Operator Responsibilities :

Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and machinery according to safety and quality standards

• Perform general labor tasks such as material handling, assembly, packaging, and cleaning of work areas
• Inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules to meet daily output goals
• Assist with loading / unloading materials and supplies within lifting restrictions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or production issues to supervisors promptly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement
