$5,000 sign on bonus offered (based on eligibility)

Evening Shift (3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm) with rotating weekends

Job Summary

Summary : Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions

• Processes specialty and general instruments.
• Resets instrument sets without error.
• Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure.
• Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels.
• Prepares and assembles surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing.
• Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor.

Qualifications

Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Licenses and Credentials : Certified Registered Central Service Technician [CRCST] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required within 12 months of hire.

Experience : related experience 1-2 years preferred
