About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Intensive Care / Coronary

Profession : Nursing

Shift : Nights 7p-7a

Hours per Shift : 36

Experience : Minimum of 3 years

License : Valid RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

ICU experience required

CRRT experience required

Balloon Pump experience required

Holiday availability required

Every other weekend availability required

Description :

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team.

The RN is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas.

The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history.

Current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests will also be assessed.

The RN will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician.

Floating to Progressive Care may be required if needed.

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills are required.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
