Position Summary SAAFE Behavioral Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Qualified Supervisor to provide clinical supervision to up to five (5) mental health registered interns working toward licensure.
This is a contracted position offering flexibility and an opportunity to contribute to the professional growth and clinical excellence of emerging therapists.
Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision to up to five (5) registered mental health interns.
Conduct weekly one-hour supervision sessions with each assigned intern (or as needed based on caseload and intern development).
Attend a monthly one-hour meeting with administration to review intern progress, discuss supervision needs, and align on organizational goals.
Maintain regular availability for collaboration with interns and administrative staff as questions or clinical concerns arise throughout the month.
Ensure all supervision is conducted in compliance with Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling standards.
Support a culture of professionalism, ethical care, and growth consistent with SAAFE’s mission and values.
Qualifications Must be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
Must hold Qualified Supervisor (QS) designation as approved by the Florida Board.
Minimum two (2) years post-licensure clinical experience .
Experience providing supervision and mentoring preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to support diverse clinical staff.
Compensation $50 per hour per intern for supervision sessions.
