Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Full-Time | Day Shift | Rural Community Hospital
A well-respected critical access hospital in Eastern Oregon is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join its clinical laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, close-knit healthcare environment that values quality care and team collaboration.
What You’ll Do :
Perform clinical lab testing across chemistry, hematology, serology, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood banking
Operate lab equipment and instrumentation with precision
Conduct quality control, maintenance, and calibration procedures
Evaluate and process specimens with a focus on accuracy and patient care
Participate in proficiency testing and continuous quality improvement
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in a biological, chemical, or clinical science
Certification-eligible as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS-ASCP)
Must obtain MLS-ASCP certification within 1 year of hire
Prior lab experience preferred, but not required
