As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while fostering a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will play a crucial role in promoting peace of mind for clients and visitors. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while remaining professional at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and perimeter, maintaining visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and escorting visitors when necessary in accordance with site protocols.
  • Report suspicious activities and / or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel or local authorities as directed.
  • Follow all Allied Universal training, standards, and protocol related to the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
  • Complete accurate and timely written reports regarding patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuation and / or lockdowns, maintaining communication with site management and Allied Universal supervision.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Applicants must have at least 5 years of security-related experience or a combined total and 3 or more years of law enforcement, military, and / or adult corrections experience.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
