We are seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing services, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as company policies.

Responsibilities :

Oversee the administration and operation of nursing services.

Support best practices, develop short- and long-term plans for nursing functions, and participate in policy revisions.

Ensure nursing interventions meet residents' personal, physical, and cognitive needs, promoting independence, identity, and social interaction.

Participate in admission decisions to ensure resident needs can be met by nursing capabilities.

Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for residents, employees, and visitors.

Ensure medications, medical supplies, and equipment are stored, controlled, and maintained at appropriate levels.

Supervise and guide staff, ensuring treatments are administered appropriately.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

3-5 years of nursing supervisory experience in direct care; experience in a skilled nursing or behavioral health setting preferred.

Graduation from an accredited RN program required; nursing degree preferred.

Current, unencumbered RN license in Colorado.

Valid CPR certification.

Previous Director of Nursing experience preferred but management or supervisory experience will be considered.

Work Schedule :

Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

On-call as needed (salaried position, no additional pay for on-call)

Team & Patient Details :

Manage a team of approximately 20 staff members.

Serve residents typically aged 65+ in a mixed care setting, including dementia and behavioral health.

Facility size : ~80 beds; direct patient care expected.
