We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be either a recent graduate with a strong foundation in IT systems or have 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting both Linux and Windows environments. This role focuses on providing technical support for desktop and server systems, with a strong emphasis on Linux administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and server support for Linux systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance).
• Assist users with software and hardware issues in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Perform routine system maintenance and updates across supported platforms.
• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts or issues as needed.
• Support end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best practices.
• Maintain documentation of procedures, configurations, and system changes.
• Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure improvements and automation projects.
• Participate in system upgrades and deployment of new technologies.
